I think children should be allowed lots of creative freedom.
I myself was a unicorn for a couple years, in the late eighties...a time I would argue that being a unicorn was culturally appropriate. I wore a halloween witch hat pushed forward for my horn and an Exxon tiger tail around my waist...remember this was before Amazon and eBay. Unfortunately I don't have a picture to share, but the good news is that I do have one of Middle Sister. She was a cat for her pre-k years. One set of ears would wear out only to be replaced by another.
And now it's Little Miss's turn. I call her my lamb sometimes, but doesn't she make a cute bunny?
