I'm pretty sure tomorrow is that magical day adoptive parents call Gotcha Day. It will be our final judgment day, and we will take Eva all over the region to take care of official documents.
We have court at 8:15 and then we'll be in the car for most of the day. Prayers for smooth, safe travels are appreciated. The roads are packed snow on ice but still slick in some spots.
Also, I'll be feeding, entertaining, and changing Eva in the car on and off all day. Prayers for endurance and a Joyful time are also appreciated! I first thought that prayers for survival would be nice, but really I'd like a good day, not just to survive the crazy day:)
Eva and I are both still a little bit sick, but I can't help but look forward to tomorrow. I think it's a combination of the finality of the judgment, spending a real day with Eva, making her legally and officially ours, a change in schedule, and maybe even the challenge of the day...Whatever the reasons, I'm excited about it.
And a post is not a post without some media so check out this en pointe! Not stoked about the clubbing, but this is too cute!
