Our community group came out on Saturday to help us get our home ready for Eva Claire and for our homestudy. We belong to an amazing body of Christ and have been so blessed by our church family! We have some pics of our generous workers but not too many of the rooms themselves. A LOT of work was completed, but pictures don't do it justice. Once some of the detail work is finished, I'll post some better pictures of the rooms.
There were about five guys working in Eva's room which is about 12x12. After the walls were floated, Daniel and I stayed up Friday night patching and sanding. The guys finished the sanding, installed the HVAC outlet thingy, and primed the walls. Shawn came back this afternoon and helped Daniel texture the ceiling so that it can be primed and painted.
The ladies painted our dining room (2 coats of tongue and groove-in ALL the grooves) which will turn into our den once it's carpeted. We're almost done with painting the existing trim and then we'll get carpet in and trim it out.
Our group was so generous with their time and efforts-we cannot begin to thank them enough! They worked in not-so-great/comfortable spaces and were so gracious and giving!
